5 Don’ts after Dinner

Don’t eat fruit

Many people like to eat apples or banana after dinner and they think those fruits can clear mouth. In fact it is a wrong habit of life and it is harm to your digestive function. It will take one to two hours to digest the food we eat. So fruits can’t be digested well.

Don’t smoke

I know a lot of my friends that they think it is a pleasure experience to have a cigarette after dinner. Actually smoking has a great effect on your health especially after dinner. And in this situation you will take in more harmful substances than usual.

Don’t drink too much water

Too much water after dinner will dilute the gastric juice in your stomach. And the foods will go to small intestine before they are digested well. And sometimes it will arise some stomach diseases. Some drinks like Cola are even more harmful.

Don’t have strong tea

Tea contains a large amount of tannin which will prevent your stomach from taking in protein. Also substances in the tea can stop the stomach from taking in iron element which will lead to iron-deficiency anemia.

Don’t drive after dinner

Dinner will make you want to sleep. So it is dangerous for you to drive at a very high speed. One hour after your dinner will be suited for driving.

Bad eating habits are very much to blame for obesity. These habits are commonly seen in our daily life, so pay more attention on them, we could help vast on losing weight.

One, do not have breakfast

Maybe there is no time for some people to have breakfast, especially for those working people, and they think it doesn’t matter. Actually, this opinion is totally wrong. Don’t have breakfast will hurt stomach seriously, make people lack of energy for work and even accelerate aging. In addition, if people do not have breakfast, it will lead to more eating for lunch

Two, dinner is very superb

The amount of insulin, which could change glucose into fat and condensed them on the walls of blood vessels, in blood is highest in the evening during a day. So if the dinner too rich, people will be fat gradually. At the same time, having sumptuous dinner of relatively long duration may damage the body’s normal biological clock and easy to insomnia.

Three, eating too fast

No matter where we are, restaurant, canteen, we could see some people eat faster. In fact, if the food could not be fully chewed, it will be not conducive to initial digest between the food in mouth and amylase. This also will add the burden of gastrointestinal tract. Hence, the vagus nerve is still in the state of over-exciting if chew short time and lead to obesity.

Four, drinking water is not enough

For the working people, they are easy to forget to drink water when concentrate on their works, so it could result in lack of body hydration and has effect on metabolism. Naturally, people will be not thin easily if damage the metabolism of body.

Five, addicting to drink coffee

Drink too much coffee are likely to make people suffer from heart disease. Besides, coffee contains high concentration of caffeine that could change heart function and increase cholesterol in blood. What’s more, if drink too much coffee, it will reduce the water in digestive properties of intestine. That will cause constipation and have influence on losing weight. But, drink coffee proper is ok.


Along with age increasing, the digestive function of the elderly has been change gradually, such as the ability of gastric dilatation is weakened, absence of hydrochloric acid in the gastric secretions of the stomach or decrease of the activity of digestive enzymes that all will cause the incomplete food hydrolysis and influence digestion and nutrient absorption. So, how to adjust the diet of the elderly to health?

Eating High Quality Food

Such as soy products, eggs or milk and so on are all the high-quality and nutritious food that should be ate by elderly usually. The elderly should also eat more fish and less meat. As we all know, the main source of sugar is from the staple food, vegetable and fruit, so elderly should minimize the white sugar, brown sugar and refined sugar.

Eating Fresh Fruits and Vegetables

Fresh fruits and vegetables are rich in plenty vitamins, minerals and dietary fiber. Fruits are also rich in organic acids that could stimulate the appetite and maintain the balance of acid and base in the body.

Eating Variety Food

There is no one food contain all variety of nutrients for the body needs, therefore, to eat proper fruits, vegetables, beans and other legumes, and whole grains that are rich in fiber every day; the meat and vegetable dish matching should also pay attention.

Drinking More Water Every Day

Water as one essential needs of body is so important that human could not leave it. Elderly is also. However, elderly don’t like the young people who have a strong feeling when thirsty, therefore, the old should drink water consciously every day. Weak tea or boiled water is better. Remember that don’t drink until feel thirsty.

Eat proper temperature food. The elderly have poor resistance on cold, once eat raw, cold and hard foods that will affect their digestion, absorption and even cause intestinal diseases.

Elderly people have poor digestion, so they should eat the food that easy to chew and good for digest.

Elderly people should eat light food, no eating more heavy taste food.

Don’t eat too much every meal, and about 7 or 8 full is ok.

1)    Green tea can help prevent tooth decay and halitosis. 3)    Green tea may provide anti-aging protection. It will be produced lots of free radicals who can lead to people aging easily during metabolism. SOD, the scavenger of free radical, can remove excess free radicals effectively and prevent free radicals damage on the human body. The catechins in green tea can significantly improve SOD’s function and remove free radicals.
4)    Green tea can improve digestion. This is due to the caffeine in green tea can enhance the secretion of juice which will help improve digestion and strengthen the ability of decomposing fat.
Many other benefits on drinking green teas are reputed to be helpful:
(1)Reduce the harm from computer radiation.
(2)Fresh-up brain
(3)Reduce cholesterin and hypertension.
(4)Help protect against cancer.
We also should know that if we want to gain these benefits from green tea, we must keep drinking green tea this habit for a long time. Though many advantages we can find from the green tea, that is not mean green tea can do everything and every people can drink it.
Pregnant women and just surgery patients are not advised to drink green tea. According to a recent study shows, green tea contains a substance EGCC who will prevent angiogenesis. Though it is good for killing the cancer cells base on preventing angiogenesis and don’t supply the nutrition for cancer cells to starve them, it is bad for pregnant women and just surgery patients.

Several Easy Steps to Cook Delicious Sushi (Food & Beverage)
Sushi is one of the most favorite and traditional food in Japan. In fact, we can make Sushi at home, though the appearance and taste may be not simon-pure, the process of doing Sushi will give you lots of funs. You may not satisfy with your work at the beginning, but practice makes perfect. Only you insist to do it for a few times, you will be gain more happiness. Do you want to try it by yourself now? In this article, we will explore the methods on cooking delicious Sushi. Now, let’s begin to do it!
Step one. Prepare the material
1.    Fillings materials: Carrot, Cucumber, Mushroom, Crab, Egg, Mustard… (You can change them base on your taste)
2.    Outer materials: Japonica rice, Kelp, Nori,
3.    Flavoring: White vinegar, Sugar, Sauce soy
Step Two. Cook rice. We should put more water than usual so that the rice can be soft. Don’t open the pot when rice is done until 10-15 minutes later, then the rice flavor can be released better. Next, put the hot rice into a larger container, add proper white vinegar then stir them with spoon until squeeze them into one.
Step Three. Break the egg, then add to a little of salt and mix well, to fry it in the pan. At last cut it into small sticks.
Step Four. Clean mushrooms, also cut them into small sticks and boil them with a little water. 
Step Five. Cut the crab, carrot and cucumber (they should be peeled) into small sticks
Step Six. Strength the Kelp or Nori, put rice on it (maybe the rice feel a little glutinous after you squeeze, you can dip some water) and also flatten it out; then put some mustard on the rice, next put the prepared fillings in the middle of it, you can put it as wide as the rice.
Step Seven. Roll of them together, next cut it into several parts.
Step Eight. To enjoy your works!
There are many kinds of Sushi, like maki-zushi, futo-maki, hoso-maki, te-maki, ura-maki, you can do or create one which base on different tastes.
